H U N T I N G A N D G A T H E R I N G
Sudogs across most worlds are known for being capable hunters and gatherers- able to utilize the resources around them in order to cook, craft, and make a living. Many hunt and fish for food, or forage for herbs to be used in powerful brews- others may scavenge for natural resources... or even discarded junk to repurpose or re-use!
This is a repeatable, four-in one activity that you can do as many times as you like!
You may choose between hunting, fishing, foraging, or scavenging for the prompt that your sudog will follow. Each activity has its own prompt, or prompts- and a loot pool with items relating to whichever activity is being done.
Submissions for this activity are referred to as "rolls", as you are rolling for items each time you turn in a submission.
When you have completed your rolls, you may turn it in with the hunting and gathering submission form!
Once submitted, you can check on the status of your rolls here!

Requirements:
Your sudog must be basic rank or higher to complete this activity!
For drawn artwork: You must complete one full scene featuring your sudog in a setting that reflects the area their imports are set in. The scene must clearly follow the prompt you have chosen for the appropriate activity (eg. drawing them hunting for a hunting roll). You sudog must be at least 75% visible. Rolls may not feature additional characters unless they are soulbound, bonded, or a part of the same troop. Prompts that require prey items must see the prey at least 50% visible. Backgrounds are required for each image and must include at least three elements of scenery in order to count (for example, clouds, trees, and rocks all count as elements of scenery). Backgrounds must be hand drawn and may not be re-used from or shared with other images. Your images must have apparent shading on the characters and in the scenery.
For written entries: You must compose one full story featuring your sudog in a setting that reflects the area their imports are set in. The story must clearly follow the prompt you have chosen for the appropriate activity (eg. writing about them hunting for a hunting roll). Your story must be written in a story format and include descriptions of the actions being performed by the character in the story and details about the setting the character is in (what can the character can see and hear, what does it smell like, is it cold or warm, are there things in the environment the character can interact with, etc.). Stories must be written in english and have a minimum word count of 1500 words. Re-used paragraphs and filler text that doesn’t contribute to the story (for example, using “and, and, and…” to start a new scene in the story) will not count.
Each roll, regardless if it is drawn or written, may only be turned in and rolled for loot once!
Both drawn and written prompts may not be submitted for more than one character unless the characters are bonded or part of the same troop- in which case the rolls can be submitted for each character featured in the submission; so long as they meet the requirements! |
